About the Founder – Dr. Abdullah Al-Shebel

Dr. Abdullah Alshebel, the founder of Tathmeer International, hails from Hail, Saudi Arabia. He began his educational journey in Al-Qassim before advancing his studies in the United States. Dr. Alshebel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University in Ohio, a Master’s in Mathematics from the University of Denver, and a Ph.D. in Teaching Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado.

Upon returning to Riyadh, Dr. Al-Shabel dedicated himself to academia, teaching at the King Abdul-Aziz Military Academy under the Ministry of Defense and at the Teachers’ Colleges within the Ministry of Education. His entrepreneurial journey began with importing camping equipment, which soon evolved into a specialized business in scout supplies and military clothing. He founded Tathmeer International, transforming it into a leading supplier for government projects, including being the approved provider of scout supplies for the Ministry of Education.

With over 37 years of expertise in fabrics and textiles, Dr. Al-Shabel has built a reputation for excellence, sourcing materials from top Asian suppliers in countries like China, India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Despite Tathmeer’s gradual growth, Dr. Al-Shabel remains committed to humanitarian work and actively supports non-profit initiatives, ensuring his business reflects his values of quality, integrity, and community service.
